the courage

Jess, we switched player's handbooks. Mine has water stains all over it. Bring mine tomorrow, please...

I think I've done enough testing, or almost enough... I'm gonna start making monsters now.

I want to hang out some time this week, honey. *sigh* I have Picasso rehearsal tuesday, wednesday, and thursday, and I want to hang out before friday. Maybe after Cheaper rehearsal tomorrow? I'm gonna start going to rehearsals anyways... so I'll be there no matter what.

Comment One more thing, what counts as a minor, medium, or major item? I think it would be as follows: Minor: Scrolls, Potions, Wands Medium: Rods Major: Staffs, Magic Arms and Armor, and Wondrous items. Jess, there's something else... I noticed, in the monster manual, an additional item creation feat called "craft construct." It's the requirement feat for creating golems and homonculuses. I think it'd be cool... I mean, there are limitations to the HD that a person can control right there with the creature entries... plus there are other requirments to make the creature itself... but I'd like to add that on to the bonus feats list... say at 8th lvl, or something.

Comment Before reading your comment, I was reading on magical capabilities and was reading about cursed stuff... I was thinking the same thing. But things that get warn out, like potions and wands, can't be cursed. Rods, staffs, weapons, armor, and the like, however, can be. Also, there are some special abilities that I would like to imbue stuff with. In the DM's guide, there are things called lesser and greater abilities that you can choose from and add it to a magic weapon (or item, but usually weapon). I'd like to add the ability onto the item, at the cost that I might have to have a higher caster level to make it or something. Yes, however. 1, 3, and 5 seems completely fair. I also found out that magic weapons with +1-+5 are included in the section... so disregard the create weapon ability I made up for the Craft Mage. (P.S.) Barbarians can't fail to rage, just as clerics can't fail to heal.

Comment Okay... here's what I decided to do for your character. You have to spend one day for minor magic items, three for medium, and five for major. There will also be a *slight* chance of the item being cursed. I feel like there needs to be some chance for you to fail, because every other class can possibly fail in their abilities. At the same time, I don't want to make it impossible for you to do anything. Does that sound reasonable? I just got called to be a DARE role model. Whee!
